Up to a half mile easily. Unfortunately, the fence, itself makes a pretty
darned good radiating antenna. The typical cause of problems is either a
cracked insulator or weeds growing up into the fence. If it is the weed
problem, you'll notice a seasonal variation--it will get very bad in the
early summer and typically die off after the first major snowfall.
