Richard,
Do you have a version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer?

Subject: off topic pdf
Hi folks;
I must admit I'm still stumped.
I have openbook 7.0
When I run open book I hit
control o, and change things to pdf file type and navigate to the file of my
dreams and hit enter. Open book then runs and I am told that this is a
large file and it will take time to process. I am then told that there is
no application on my system associated with this file type.
I have also tried using windows explorer and right clicking on the file. I
can then arrow down to open with openbook and hit enter. Open book then
runs but I get the same error message. If I just hit enter on the file
name, however, adobe runs as it should but it says the file is empty.
Weren't computers supposed to simplify life?
