I believe it, I have yet to hear a radio that sounds better out of the box
with just a basic Heil mic on it. I think the 6 KHz filter is already there
it's just a case of accessing it on SSB. We had a lot of people on the 10
meter frequency I used to be on that had them and they all could do it.
