That's why I like this round metal one I have, my first 2 lasted about 3 
year on one, 2 on another and the current one is currently at 2 and a half 
years but I agree, when I had the cheap ones that I was replacing every 6 to 
8 months, it was frustrating. I had a key chain with a talking clock on it 
for backup in case I didn't have the BNS or laptop with me.
