It is an idea whose "time has come" to add a TTP to desk microphones.
With EchoLink becoming more mainstream, there will be more demand.
Many Handi-ham members need the stability of a desk mic if they have
muscle/mobility disorders, etc.

I've suggested that one to a lot of manufacturers and a lot of people,
the people want it, the manufacturers for what ever reason, just don't
make it.
I even went to MFJ with the idea.
