Phil, that's an especially good one for me, because one of my care
providers, Jose, may have some Jewish nationality. His last name, Jasso
(pronounced like hosso), is not a Mexican name. I don't know if his family
knows all the details of his heritage yet, but when I remember Blanca
telling me about this the first time, she mentioned the possibility that
some Jews escaped the Nazi destruction by changing their last name, then
emigrating to Mexico. I shall ask him, who also is a cook, if there are any
kind of juice in the house. hahahaha!
