uh, if you have the TM V7A, it was, and still is one of the most accessible
kenwood dual banders ever made. The PL's and other tones are a sinch to set
in that thing...it can be done from the microphone in fact without sited
assistance.
However, the TM V71 is currently the most accessible in terms of reading
menus and other settings.
The v7a doesn't read menus, but if you have an online manual or an
electronic manual you can certain get around the radios menus easily enough
by following the listed menu items and their corresponding positions from
the manual.
