Hi Richard,
I really like the looks of the TS480SAT.

Perhaps I should just get that rig and reduce the power.

I also wonder between the two rigs, the Kenwood and the Icom Ic703 which has 
the better internal tuner.

I also like the fact that you can enter frequencies directly with the 
Kenwood and don't have to buy an external keypad.
