Hi.

I'm thinking that it might be a voltage drop from a resistive connection at
the binding posts on the power supply. A little oxidation, or perhaps a
not real secure connection. I had an insident like this with my TS2000S
where it was putting out low power. Smelling a rat, I put it on the power
cable for the TS690S and power came up to normal. The culprit was some
crimp on ring connectors that fit over the binding posts on the
supply. They worked well when new, but after they had had some time to
oxidize, all of the sudden, my rig was only putting out about 75 watts
instead of 100 watts. I took the power cord out in the other room, and
soldered the ring connectors and that ended the problem permanently.
