Do you have any suggestions of what I might try with my 746?
I have now tested it on two resonant antennas--my 80-meter dipole, and my
tribander yagi on 20 meters, and with a 1.1 to 1 SWR reading, I still get
only approximately 50 watts out, whether the auto-tuner is on or off.
I may have to send the rig in for servicing, but obviously want to avoid
that if I can.
I even thought of doing a full re-set of the CPU, but hate to risk loosing
all the stuff I have in memories, if it wouldn't work in the end.
