    That's good to know, Howard, but I think something's wrong with my 746.

I just did another series of tests this morning, on another resonant 
antenna, and, with the auto-tuner either on or off, I still get only about 
50 or so watts output power with a 1.1 to 1 swr, rather than the 100 or so I 
should get with the tuner off.

Don't know if it's time to send that rig in for servicing or not, but at 
least I now have the TS480.
