Someone who uses TR or other logging programs will use one.

The easiest way to solder to the 25 way is to cut off the pins which you
aren't going to use.

I cannot recall the pin configuration off the top of my head, but the usual
way of keying is with a couple of resistors and a switching transistor.
An opto coupler can be used to minimize RF in the lead.

Hi guys,
I'm wondering, have you ever played with some of the software that sends and

receives CW with the sending unit plugging in to the radio and the parallel 
port on your computer? If so, are there any of those cables made? or should 
I find someone to make one? I'm not sure what's involved but do know I don't

want to solder on those 25 pin connectors if I can help it. I suppose if I 
had a good diagram, description, I would though.
