There's no D Star around here at all and I don't anticipate that changing. 
It's too expensive, there's only 1 company making radios for it, and there's 
no standard for it, nor is any manufacturer putting any effort in to jumping 
on board at this time. It will probably be another over rated toy that dies 
out in a few years in favor of something else. Difference being, this will 
probably never really take off overly big except in a few areas.
