Yes, if you have an authorized player, you can download books through the pilot 
project.  The Victor Stream is currently the only player that yu can get 
authorization for.  The, you download the books, unzip them to a folder and put 
them on the VR SD card.

By the way, the company I work for is offering a special on Victor streams.

We got on this thread a few weeks ago and I'm not certain if I ever figured
a few things out.  If you are a resident of the States you should be
eligible for books on memory cards sometime in the future.  Can you or will
you be able to simply down load them with your computer similar to
bookshare?  If yes can you currently do that and where might I look for more
info.
The state affiliate library says cards only but I was left with the idea
that there is or will be some type of download program.
