I know people on this use audio editors.  I just downloaded the newest 
version of goldwave.  It has the coolest feature in the new version.  They 
put the ability to list and change the hot keys with in the program.  Now if 
any conflict with your screen reader's hot keys, you can change the 
application rather than the screen reader.  The keyboard is changeable right 
from the help menu.  You don't even have to go hunting for it.  How cool is 
this?
