Tom, on the inside of the shelf i screwed a board on the shelf so the radios 
can't slide off and padded them to avoid scratching.  the shelf sets on the 
boards which when the table is dropped makes a bed which we never use.  I 
had to put two legs on outside of shelf because the boards don't go quite to 
the outside of the motor home.
