Hmm, rotors, isn't there rotors which have a knob with a pointer which might
point toward the left, (West), to the right, (East), up for North and down
for South? I had one but I don't know if it is still being made since I am
thinking about the late sixties.

Hi Gary,
I was considering getting the Ham 4 rotor and control box. I don't know
anyone except Norm's Rotor Service that repairs rotors. When is the last
time that the Ham 4 was used and how old is it? What would you be willing
to sell it for?

Gary,
I have one of the modified ham 4 control boxes with a ham 4 rotor that I've
been considering selling. I can't swear as to the workability of the unit
but if you find out that it can be worked on if nessasary I'll certainly
make you a good deal on it. Let me know.

Norm's Rotor Service (he's on the web) sells a modified Ham 4 rotor
and control box that can be used. I use a standard Ham 2 rotor with
an outboard audio oscillator across three terminals on the back. It
was made according to an old QST article from about 25 years
ago. There is also a schematic from Handihams that is for such an
outboard audio oscillator.
