Hi, John,
I moved a lot while I was in college and looking for a job after that. I
can't remember the number of times I moved, but it was 10 or 11 times over 6
years. If you can, find an apartment in an older neighborhood with lots of
trees, you'll probably not have much trouble putting up an antenna. Try to
stay away from a high-rise apartment complex, if you can, cause they tend to
have the most restrictive regulations. I never asked about putting up
antennas, I just put them up, usually at night and was never hassled.

Subject: a little ot advice

Well, I've been given my notice, as usual at a pretty bad time, but anyway.
It looks as if I"m being forced to move. Does anyone have advice on how I
should look in to antenna limitations? do you just ask? look at paperwork?
ask forgiveness later? I'm thinking a trailer is my best option since
there's no possible way I can ever afford a house, even that will put me to
1 meal a day for a few months but I have a better chance of putting up an
antenna or 2 with out complaint there than at an apartment building and I'd
doubt if I can afford to rent a house either.

To those interested, yes that means there will be equipment for sale, I
can't move all I have now. Likely I'll put everything up for sale and what
ever goes goes, but if the 570 goes I keep the 706 or the other way around,
stuff like that. I'm not ready yet, I have to see if the person throwing me
out is very serious about it and will actually help me fill out the
paperwork, but once we start looking, or I start looking and stuff is
looking like it will materialize, I'll do that. Of course, the main
complaint from family is rides so I have no clue how I'll ship it, I'll
probably have to have it picked up by ups or something. I'll worry about
that when the time comes, I'm very far from happy about this but saw it
coming 2 years ago. I didn't think it would be this ugly, but oh well.
THK2AT is probably becoming available soon if anyone wants to make me an
offer for it. I'll sell the lesser used stuff peace meal first to make the
big sale smaller.
