Hi Folks;
I have a very basic ts2000 question or two so feel free to reply off list.
Handihams recently did a set of audio "tutorials" dealing with the ts2000
but I never really got a good answer to my real question. The ts480 lets
you install cw and a narrow ssb filter. Unfortunately they drive up the
price. I believe there are no provisions in the ts2000 for extra filters
because the superior dsp does the job. Although you have high cut and low
cut adjustments does the dsp let you vary the band width on both ssb and cw?
The dsp on the ts570 introduced as much distortion as it sometimes
eliminated. Have people felt that the radio would have been easier to use
if there were provisions for optional filters?
