Bob,  There is limited funding of independent living initiatives.  Most rehab 
money is spent at rehabilitating those who will have possible employment 
outcomes and become taxpayers.

I worked for 40 years and since I have retired 6 years ago I don't even get
the time of day from agencies serving the blind.  What's wrong with this
picture?  It's expensive to be blind and we all could use a little help.
