Kris,
    Did you lose a P on that one?  Pioneer?  I think Steve has the right 
idea, to just go looking at used stuff locally.  Maybe I will end up with a 
real stereo system, using components.  A tuner and amp with speakers would 
be a great start.  I could pipe my mp3 player into its line in and not get a 
cd changer.  Hmmmm.

    Anyone have such components begging for a new home?  ;)
