Hi List,

Another way to do this is to select the memory channel, turn the power off,
hold down the tuning dial--or as the manual (which I finally found in
special format calls it "the mHz dial") and turn the power back on. On
screen, there is a prompt to delete the currently selected channel to which
you respond by pressing the memory mode button.

Take care.

Kevin,

With the memory selected in MR mode, turn the power off and turn it back on
while holding down the MR button. You'll hear a beep, at which point you
press the MR button to complete the erasure. You'll hear a longer beep, and
the memory will be cleared. You'll be in VFO mode, with the memory contents
stored in the VFO. This is good in case you accidentally deleted the wrong
memory because you can put it back immediately.

Steve
