Bobby:
I have the mfj9406 and for what it is, it is a fine little rig.
It is ten watts out on cw and ssb, runs from 50.0 to 50.3 mhz.
Has a decent sounding receiver, and if you purchase the cw adapter,
works fairly well in that department.
Frequency is indicated by a pointer immediately behind the main
tuning knob. This travels around a scale written on the front panel
of the case. on my rig, straight up is about 50.15 mhz.
ten watts is sufficient for a lot of fun if the band is open.
Hope this helps.
