I use my phone with Talks which I think lots of you know about: it's a
screen reader for some mobiles, that's how I get my Emails read.

    Hi, all.

Well, just in case some of you feel behind the times technologically, I'll
make you all feel better by asking a question that shows that I'm probably
technologically more behind everyone when it comes to cell phones. My XYL
has a cell phone, but I don't, partly because I'm convinced that the cell
phone business is a real racket of sorts, and I just haven't seen the need
for me to have one personally.

Anyway, here's my question:

What cell phones can actually read out e-mail and other things via a speach
output? I guess I didn't realize that the capability to verbally read out
the screen from an e-mail existed on most cell phones.

Ok, you can stop laughing now!

Please enlighten this aging college professor!
