Hi Tom,

You can't use cut and paste with a .PDF file, or with any other attachment 
for that matter.  You can bring the file into K1000 in one of two ways:

1.  Open the .PDF file in Adobe.  Press Ctrl-P to print it, and from the 
drop-down list choose "Kessie Virtual Printer" and click OK.  This causes 
K1000 to start, and it recognizes the contents of your file just as if you 
had scanned it in.

2.  Alternatively, start K1000 and open the .PDF file by pressing Ctrl-O. 
This may be a bit more work since you'll have to extract the attachment from 
OE, which is a topic for another discussion.  I mention this method only 
because you can use it on any .PDF file, but I personally think it's easier 
to use method 1.  From a programming standpoint, both methods do the same 
thing, and give you the same result.
