Hello.
Just a few days ago I took a look at a manule for the icom ic-v82 radio, a two meater tranciever for fm and d star communication.
I found that the instructions for setting up the d star portion of the radio were difficult to follow since it was highly menu driven and you had to go to different menu choices and move a cursor back and forth by using up and down keys or y and z keys they were called and hit a certain key on the radio to enter in different letters and the number of your callsign.
What I want to know is if anyone has any personal experience with this radio and is there a way to use the computer with a provided program to enter all this information into the radio?
This would be the only way to do this just because of the complex menus in this radio.
I need someones help.
Tracy Son.
