Howdy Tom.  Bet your getting anxious for the 480.  I use the 480 in my R 
B without any tuner but using a Hustler so no tuner needed.  I never use a 
internal tuner with an outboard tuner, they get to interacting with each 
other and everything gets messed up. You can disable the tuner from the 
front panel with just the push of a butten.   73
