What is a begali simplex ?  

I like my Chicago Spies works straight key.  However a friend of mine
had a straight key with about a 9 to 12 inch long leaver but I never did
get to send much code with it as he had not hooked it up when I saw it.
He also had a original WU sounder set presented to him on his retirement
from WU.  It was brass silver plated on a walnut plaque.

Yes, and this thing has lots of memory space and a 200 character
type-ahead buffer which is great for ragchewing.  I can type much better
than I can work the iambic paddles.  I swear, I'm going to pick up a
begali simplex mono one of these days.  Lou
