What do you mean by a good description?  Just a short blurb he could find on any 
number of websites that sell it.

If he needs a more detailed description, there is a free tutorial and he could 
probably pull the main features of the scanning program from that.  The tutorial 
is for version 14 and they are up to at least version 16 now.
