Hi, all.
Here's the response I got from Freedom Scientific on the lack of a top and
bottom of the window announcement in Outlook Express.
Let's try to pressure them to fix this issue sooner than later, because it
is really a step backward, in my opinion.

With JAWS(r) screen reading software version 8.0, it is a known issue
that the Top and Bottom Edge alert has been changed from saying top of
window, bottom of Window to a dinging sound. There are known issues with
top and bottom edig alert that are being worked on. We do not have a fix
for this at the present time.

Hello.
My name is Dr. Thomas Behler, and my Jaws serial number is 41503.
I just installed Jaws 8.0 on my home PC, and have found that, in Outlook
Express, I no longer have the notification that I am at the top or
bottom of the window containing an e-mail list. I find that feature to
be really handy, especially if I have a long list of e-mails in my
in-box to go through. Can you tell me how to get that "top and bottom
of window" notice re-instated in Outlook Express?
I am currently using Windows XP home.
