Friends, Coleagues, and fellow citizens,
 
I wish to invite all and sundry to our journal, The Lighthouse. It is the  
founding journal to The Global Democracy Project whose website when completed,  
will house the lighthouse e-newsletter.
 
We are excited about the journal and thanks to lessons and assistance from  
our own Moribolong and Arianna Huffington, I will muster the requisite  
enthusiasm about e-journals that I did not have before. We were going to await  the 
launching of the website but a friend intimated that the e-journal precursor  
could not hurt. I agree with her. I started with an AOL journal but that did 
not  seem to be so user-friendly so I went to google.
 
The journal will be under constant review until an acceptable and finished  
product emerges. I encourage all to give us ideas, suggestions, and assistance  
where possible. I now invite all to:
