Hi, folks.
As you may recall, I recently had to send one of my Kenwood TMV7A's in for
repairs. The 2-meter final had gone out on me during a week-long
Michigander Bicycle Tour net this past summer, and the receive on the radio
also needed to be re-aligned.
Anyway, I sent the radio into Cliff Holland at AVVID in Texas, and found him
to be very accomodating and competent. He kept me posted on the status of
things every step of the way, and gave me honest assessments as to what it
would cost to fix the problems, whether the radio was worth repairing, etc..
And, I think his final price for the repairs and servicing was quite
reasonable.
So, keep this guy in mind if you ever have Kenwood gear that needs to be
repaired.
