Since this guy's talking about the 735 I'm glad in a way. I can't find too
many friends that use it. Mine needs some real readjusting. I bought it from
a guy who used it for cb. He told me the radio was good. He said I'm paying
a lot less than he paid for it. I got it for 200 dollars. Then a sighted
friend help me hook it to ham deluxe so I can program it with jaws.
Actually, it uses Microsoft marry. I found out way later that my radio was
past around from one cb person to another and they butchered it. The audio
on it for a m sucks. The microphone for it, the f m 8 hardly puts out any
audio. I know that's not normal. I'll keep the radio because it is still
useable, but I'm very disappointed at having to take it in to have it looked
at one day. That's gonna cost me and I'm not happy about that.

Hi.

The Icom 735 came out after the 751A and used the AT150 auto tuner from
Icom. I found that with the antennas that I have, the AT200 Pro was only
slightly better than the AT180, but since I already had the AT180 when LDG
introduced the AT200 Pro, and since I never had the interface for the Icom
(I used it for a short time on the TS2000S), I still have the AT180. It
does seem like Icom's prices on their auto tuners is rather excessive
though, but then, one could say that about most accessories from Icom.
