I fear I have major problems. I did as Steve suggested. I found a
clear frequency and switched the rig to cw. I pushed the transmit
switch located above the mic up and then pressed the buttons on my watt
meter. Everything was 0 watts. I pressed the button next to the speech
button for the frequencies since I thought this was the general
coverage/ham bands button and no change. I even turned the knob for the
mic gain and the one for watts of power and no change. I am probably
missing something. I'll probably have to wait a few weeks for my dad to
come by and help. I don't know of anyone around here that I can get to
help. I'll probably will look through the manual and see if anything
jumps out at me.
