ah ok, thought that was just for connecting through a network locally.
That would work then if I can access my home machine remotely without having
to use those ports.
I do like the fact that echolink has the webserver interface which allows
control of the link remotely.
Since my link is going to be set up on a popular frequency, i have to be
able to turn it on and off when i am not using it.
I would rather have it password protected, but i didn't find anywhere in the
help file that indicated that was possible.
