Phil and all,

Here's a thought that came to me around the moment I was praying for Ned:
Perhaps one of the reasons why our prayers are so important is because they
support God's creative Words about what should or should not happen, that
His Will will be done. If we don't do anything and just say, "Oh well,
God's going to do what He's going to do, or not," and, even worse, become
doom sayers, speaking the opposite of His Truth, then perhaps His work is
hindered or slowed down, because, many times, He will not force His will on
mankind?
