Jen,
In the old testament it was a duty, but not, in Christ, it is a
privilege if He has so led you. Remember, everything belongs to
Him. He may ask you to fork it all over or keep it. Ten percent is
a nice start, as long as you don't get legalistic about it and figure
that you've given God His due and the rest is for you. It's really
a heart issue more than a legal one.
