Hi all,

Well, our fourteenth wedding anniversary is here and we reflected, last
night, that we hadn't really got anything planned or even anything special
to eat . . .. Of course, we went to sleep content in the knowledge that we
were His and He had given us each other!

My phone rang today and it was Mike on the other end.

As part of today's reading he'd read Proverbs 19.

Now, some of you may have got there . . .. (I needed a little reminder.)

He said: Read verse 14 but not 13 and 15!

Of course, I read 14 first and went "Ah, lovely" as a smile spread across my
face! Then I read 13 and 15 and laughed!

How good is our God!

Here are the verses for any who want to read:

Proverbs 19:13-15 Amplified Bible:

13A self-confident and foolish son is the [multiplied] calamity of his
father, and the contentions of a wife are like a continual dripping [of
water through
a chink in the roof].

14House and riches are the inheritance from fathers, but a wise,
understanding, and prudent wife is from the Lord.(A)

15Slothfulness casts one into a deep sleep, and the idle person shall suffer
hunger.

On the note of hunger, I have now found us something special to eat . . .
and I'm off to do some preparation!

Love to you all:
