Bobby and Ken,
Until recently (when the formula for the number of liquor licenses was changed to a determination strictly by county population), every newly chartered "city" in Wyoming was granted 2 liquor licenses. Therefore, we had towns like "Bill" and "Powder River" with two bars, and fewer than 50 people. For awhile, 5 people lived in Bill, and the Bill, the husband, ran one bar, and his wife ran the other one.

Ken,
I will keep trying to get the coins. I've learned alot about saloons of
the Old West. The book I am reading now is about the saloons of Texas. The
saloon was one of the first businesses established in a town. They were
social gathering places for the white males only. Few minority frequented
the "bettter" sallons. Orientals, Blacks and others established their own
saloons. The coins you mentioned were used to draw clientele from other
"watering holes".. Batrtenders were held in high regard and
frequently.addressed frequently as "professor". They were equal in social
standing to lawyers, doctors and politicians. They were called "mixolosts".
Unlike the movies depicted, "soiled doves" were frowned upon because
arguments over them lead to moore violence. That's more than you wanted to
know! LOL
