Fred,
Hy Power Antennas in PA makes a bunch of full size, shortened, and multiband
dipoles in various lengths and configurations. I think construction and
quality is similar to what is sold by Alpha Delta, although less expensive.
I think both companies use number 12 solid insulated wire and ss hardware,
and rated for 1500 pep.
I have one of his 160/75/40 dipoles at 124 feet long. Been very pleased
with it over the past 5 years. The model that has 80 meters instead of 75
is a few feet longer. Other band combos and lengths as well.

BTW, as someone said, there are ways to get around the soldering: Crimp,
wire nuts, etc. The Wire Man in South Carolina has wire nuts with silicone
goo inside sutible for use out in the elements, but you could probably find
similar locally. I have a balun made by Spi-ro that uses brass screws to
hold the antenna wire in a brass pocket. Pretty neat.
