oh yes, I was going to mention that as well, hamfests seem to be over
whelmed these days with good quality commercial gear. This is due to the
recent changes in regulations regarding the commercial bands...the narrow
bandwidth that some of the commercial radios were unable to do...so there
are tonnes of radios that are usually going very cheaply.
