Lou, I will not take this antenna this next week but perhaps later
in the summer or Labor Day. Indeed I will try to give a good report.
The laptop died so effective logging is out the window next week which
is most annoying. I am naturally cheep and the price of copper has me
very much annoyed so I hope to dig out the antenna barrel from the shed
tonight and see what is left from previous items which should give me
something. I cannot believe, I did have at one time more than 1,000
feet of unused wire, but the last time I was in the barrel it sure was
not there. The best price locally so far is about .58 cents a foot for
14 but it only comes in 50 foot rolls. I had hoped to put up a 1/4 for
1.8 but the barrel may tell later tonight grin.

Hi Brett.
I would expect it to favor the east somewhat. I suspect that it will do
a pretty decent job for you. It is much the same principle as mounting
a Hamstick on a bumper of a vehicle except that the 5BTV is probably a
bit more efficient, and certainly more versatile.
You'll have to let us all know how it works out. The only possible
advantage that I see to the GAP Titan over the 5BTV is coverage of the
WARC bands, but other than that, I suspect that your antenna will work
well on the five bands that it is designed to cover.
