Thanks, Robert.  That looks like that was indeed the problem.  I don't know 
how that "Group Messages by conversation," box got checked, but I unchecked 
it and it seems to have solved the problem.  Thanks again.  73.

Now to another matter: does anyone know how to fax using MS Office Word?  I 
have tried to fax, and the Fax wizard reports that it has been sent, but I 
never hear the modem pick up.  Is there any easy way or shortcut to doing 
it.  I ran a test on my dial-up modem, and it passed all tests according to 
the testing software.  Thanks again.  73.
