Hi Richard.
Try putting ferrite cores on the leads to the speakers at each end of the
interconnecting cables. Most of the computer speakers have a very high
degree of amplification, a lot of lead length that acts like an antenna,
and almost no shielding. It's a pretty bad combination. You might also
consider winding the power cord around a ferrite core. I esxpect that 2
meters you would only need a few turns of wire to choke off the RF pickup.
