My favorite headset for the f6 is the dm2-kenwood from workman electronics.

This is a set consisting of a small speaker about the size of a
quarter. This is fixed in a molded frame which hangs on the
ear. Down the cable about 12 to 18 inches is a lapel mic and a ptt
button. There is also a clip to secure these to a jacket or shirt colar.

What makes this set especially nice is that it can be worn for
extended periods of time without discomfort, and does not block
surrounding sounds significantly.
The last time i bought one the cost was $8.00
Give it a try, I think you'll like it.

Workman makes other sets for alinko, icom, and other radios. They
also make the dm1 which is just the ear speaker with a 1/8 inch
plug. I use this connected to my speakout all the time. It doesn't
produce the soreness caused by headphones.

Hope this helps.
