Hi,
I've just gotten my TMD71A out of the box and attached Anderson power poles
and so far so good. I haven't figured out yet how to enter in a frequency,
but I did dial in a local repeater just to make sure the rig worked before I
open the top cover to plug in the VGS1 speech board. I got my rig from Ham
City for $385.00 and the speech board cost $59.95. The manual is not yet
available on Kenwood's web site, but since the rig isn't supposed to be on
the market until June first, maybe it will be posted as a pdf file tomorrow.
I'll let you know more as soon as I have figured out a few things.
