There are some areas where there is a lot of activity on 900.  There was 
guy who lived here in VEgas, and he put up several 900 machines.  I even 
had a Motorola radio at one time.  He was the main mover and did all the 
maintenance, so I don't know what the state of 900 is here since he left 
town.  he did leave all of his repeaters in place.  It is a strange band.
