Hi Family!

I will follow up on what Phil started. By the way, this occurs both
within the United States and in Mexico.

First, Mexican crops are irrigated with polluted water containing
fecal matter and urine, unprocessed in sewage treatment plants. To
further add insult to injury, since there are no bathrooms in the
fields, the workers relieve themselves anyplace they wish to.

In the United States, migrants do just about the same thing. It's
made me wonder for a long time why vegetables taste so funny. Well,
there's another reason for this. The United States exports chemicals
and insecticides banned in this country, and guess where they end up?
You're right! They end up in Mexico, and in other countries as well.
It's hard to know what to do about that because it's been going on
for a generation or more.

That's all this reporter has time to write at this time cuz I'm in
pain and pooed--too pooped to pop!

JOYOUS LOVE AND BLESSINGS TO ALL OF Y'ALL,

Purple Mari and her faithful but exhausted scribe, Reeva Parry.
