It sure is a sad state of affairs when people lose respect for others so
much so to take advantage of another's shortcoming no matter what that is
for anyone. I learned that once myself years ago and realize what an idiot
I was at the time. If I ever get the nerve I'll tell you about it is really
pathetic now that I think of it :). Kind of embarrassing actually.
As for safety, I do pray for your safety to and from work. As I always try
to do, use the wisdom and smarts God gave us to do our part in
accomplishing the task, and God will take care of the rest. Stuff like not
taking the same route, going a little early and a little later than always
the same time, carrying self-defense spray if needed and etc. and of course
pray with confidence and not fear before you head out. Let it be a
praiseful thing in that he's protected you all these days , weeks, months
or years and it is based on that you can have confidence as you leave and
not fear based off of something that has never happened yet. That is the
enemy speaking as God has not given us fear as such.
