Subject: Filter Keys and log in

Hi,

Background: I am working with a man who lives in a ward of a hospital
with 4 other people. He has his dell desktop computer next to his bed.
He has limited use of only one hand and in order for him to use the
computer he needs to have the Filter keys settings through accessibility
turned on, that allow him to avoid repeated key strokes when typing. It
appears as if other people on the ward are using his computer when he is
not around, and I am very worried about security issues.

Problem: When I set up the password for him, I find that the filter keys
are not set up before he logs in. What happens is that when he goes to
type in his password instead of for example one “a” being typed he has
multiple “aaa” being typed. This causes a problem because the password
is no longer valid.

Any ideas on how we can work with this Filter key issue. Any other
security issues we can work set up for this.

Thanking you in advance,

Lorraine
